Children's Holiday Events | Tea and a Talk | Visits and talks by The Friends of the Salt Museum | Cinema

There is an exciting programme of events at the Salt Museum, throughout the year. There are lots of holiday craft activities to keep you busy this year. Many are connected with our temporary exhibitions so you can get inspirations for your crafts from the displays. Workshops cost £1.15 per child and this includes a free look around the main museum displays. (Adults wanting to look around afterwards cost £2.25) You can drop into any workshop between 10am and 4pm unless stated otherwise.

Holiday events

Looking for something to do with your children or grandchildren during the holidays? Look no further - we have a variety of special activities taking place and they are included in your museum admission price. You may wish to buy a season ticket and take advantage of all of them or just pop in one day. The workshops run from 10am to 4pm on Wednesdays and Thursdays and usually take 45 minutes to an hour to complete. Drop in any time you like between those times. Children must be accompanied by an adult.
